Mouldylocks

Our forbears knew how to feed babies. Not sure where things went so wrong, especially in North America. I have my suspicions, but this post is not about that. The Pro Breastfeeding Poster from 1936 is awesome.

    I love this! I wish I had been more forceful of my viewpoint on wanting to nurse when I had my first son in ’87. It’s like those old nurses felt they knew better than a young mom like me. Sigh. I certainly was more firm in ’92 when I had my second and am so happy I got the chance to experience how easy, natural, and effortless nursing is. Thanks for sharing this!
