I really don’t like calling and talking to bank representatives, but on behalf of my mother, I need to. Because my mother is still in hospital and cannot leave, getting certain forms signed and witnessed may be a challenge, but I’m hoping the bank she deals with will make a concession. I’m just trying to remain calm and focused, and maintain proportion of the things I need to do, want to do, and have to do.

Nice to balance out the bit of anxiety you have with the image of a flower.
I relate. I had to do this with my grandma — I was overwhelmed by the idea but just took care of it little by little, looked up, and I had done it! Good look VW!

It’s never easy dealing caring for elderly loved ones . . . and dealing with all the legal and finacial matters. Been there, done that. Hang in there!

Ergh. I’m forever behind in other people’s blogs. I didn’t know your mom was sick. That alone must be very hard. Having to deal with the BS that is paperwork and red tape is a nightmare under the best of circumstances. Sending loving vibes your way.
