September was busy. October will be busier. This past weekend, a rare opportunity to slip out of town opened up, so we all went to Banff, AB. It was nice to get away and recharge my batteries. Now that I’m back and moderately refreshed, I can get to working on clearing my Mama’s place out and have it all accomplished before Samhain. Also, we have found an assisted-living residence for my Mama. The suite will be available at the end of October. This is perfect, because we have until the end of October to clean out her old apartment. *happy dancing*
I saw this gorgeous Raven statue on Banff Avenue, so I had to snap a photo. He’s super-cool!
Wow, good luck on the cleaning up and moving out. Sounds like a crazy month. Glad you got a little recharge. I’ve always wanted to go to Banff.

Banff is so nice, and the weather was absolutely wonderful. The trip to the top of tunnel mountain by gondola was super-cool, too. ;0)

Sorry this is related to just the last sentence in your blog but not sure if you have ever been to Black Hawk, Colorado. They have huge statues of black hawks all over the city. Reminds me of the picture you took.

one of the few links I could find. The statue in the picture is as big as a smart car. Lots of beauty in those mountains!
