I’m so far behind on my blog… Oy vey!
Just last month, on August, 27, I got my left forearm inked with an image of the T.A.R.D.I.S. (time and relative dimension in space), from Doctor Who. I was never much into the series when I was a kid, but the latest re-tooling of the Doctor has myself and my Elflings hooked. Between the 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston), the 10th Doctor (David Tennant), and the 11th Doctor (Matt Smith), our favourite here is David Tennant. If you get a chance, watch the version of Hamlet by the Royal Shakespeare Company, it’s wonderful!

This T.A.R.D.I.S. is helping my fill-up the canvas that is my skin. I’m hoping to have sleeves on both arms by the time I’m 45. ;0)

I will be getting a half sleeve at some point, and had already decided to include some Gallifreyan of my children’s names. It will also include references to my crafty work and Buddhism. I need to find the right artist who can make it all work.

Tennant is my favourite too. I love him as the Doctor, but my favourite performance of his is with Catherine Tate in Much Ado About Nothing.

LOVE IT. I was a big fan of David Tennant as the Doctor as well, but then I also really became a big fan of Matt Smith. I’m looking forward to seeing the 12th Doctor, I have a feeling he’ll be very good too, different but good.
Your tattoo reminds me that I recently saw a picture of a tattoo of a Dalek, it was really cool.

We all LOVE David Tennant here, but Matt Smith gives a geeky, sweet to his portrayal of the Doctor. I’m looking forward to seeing how 12 does, too. It can’t be awful. ;0)
