INSPIRED TO ABUNDANCE 2019 – MID-POINT RECAP

This whole “Inspired to Abundance” adventure is proving to be so much fun! I love that as the sums get larger, I must be more creative to imagine ways in which I would actually and realistically spend that much. This is great! Stay tuned for how the remaining sums will be allocated by myself and Family.

INSPIRED TO ABUNDANCE 2019 – SUM 5

This one also came to me quite easily.

The sum to spend is $2,500:

$1500 – Various Debts

$1000 – Mixed Quarter of Grass-fed, Local Beef from TK Ranch

$2,500

∴ In some ways it becomes easier to imagine how to spend larger sums of money, although it can also become more challenging to creatively spend sums that exceed those which we generally consider. That said, with an extra $2,500 laying around, I would get fill my freezer with the best, local, grass-fed beef for my entire family.

BIG NEWS and New Developments

Veggie Headshot

I’ve been so busy these last few weeks, but it’s been pretty good busy. We’ve had some highs and lows with my Mother’s deterioration and steady decline, had many adventures during our Summer break, had our hairs cut to stay cool in the delicious heat, and found an awesome part-time job at Community Natural Foods, a local health food store.

Veggie Deo Stack

Working at Community has been a wonderful environment and opportunity for me to learn, grow, and share. I’ve also been approved to sell my Veggiewitch Cream Deodorant there! I submitted my application and proposal with samples (both 60ml/2oz and 120ml/4oz sizes in each scent) on July 21, 2014, and was called for an interview on August 4, 2014, to sign some papers and get the ball rolling. It’s so exciting!

CNF Labels

We have a tentative beginning of September launch, but my UPC’s are in the CNF system and the shelf labels have been printed. Squeeeeeeeee!

I Love Sewing and Knitting! ❤

These past few weeks, in addition to working way too many shifts (at my “part-time” job… grrrrr!), I have been madly crafting some organic, bamboo velour cloth diapers for a dear friend of my eldest Elfling. It’s been awesome! :0)

I made 14 diapers for her with some of my hand-dyed organic, bamboo velour; organic, cotton velour; and two different weights of fleece (200wt Wind-Pro and fuzzy). Each diaper has an inner of luxuriously-soft, organic, bamboo velour. Yum!

This one is my absolute favourite diaper. Squish!

I’ve also been knitting like crazy! My Elflings insist I’m a robot, because they’re certain no real human could knit as fast. I assure them I’ve seen people knit much faster than I. ;0)

This is so exciting! I have a crazy-large stash of wool that I’m finally making time to work through.

Here’s a pic of some of the set I put together.

I just adore the colorway (Deep Space by Mosaic Moon) of this set. It’s bright but gender neutral, and so cozy!

Here’s a pic of the sweet, baby boy wearing the sweater. I have permission to share this photo, and I am super-excited to show how much cuter the sweater actually looks when worn by such an adorable, little person as this wee Elfling. Awwwwwe! ❤
