Inspired to Abundance 2016 – Mid-Point Recap

So many feelings bump around in my head as I make my way through my Inspired to Abundance exercise. The following feelings are the most prominent:

  • excitement
  • elation
  • confusion
  • relief
  • uncertainty

It feels so good to really get into this exercise, and I’ve made it further along this time around than I did both previous times I’d attempted it.

If you have been considering taking a stab at the Inspired to Abundance Exercisebut haven’t made time for it, I seriously recommend you give it a shot. You’ve got nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

Day 17 ~ Most Proud Moment

Evil Me

Day 17 ~ Most proud moment:

It is so hard to pick just one, because there are many accomplishments I am proud of in my life. Outside of naturally birthing two singletons and a set of twins, I am over the moon with kicking booze to the curb five-years ago, putting my life back together, eating better, ditching meat and dairy for a vegan diet, getting healthy, and adding actual exercise to my life. It feels absurdly awesome to feel so good. ♥

31-Day Blog Challenge

My Runners

my runners

These are my runners; there are many like them, but these ones are mine.

I keep my runners right by my bed to remind me to run everyday. It took me a 60-day reboot to gain the confidence and motivation to start exercising. Since completing the 60-days, I have started doing a morning yoga routine, followed by a run/walk. I run around our block, then down a hill behind our house, I then run up the hill partly before power-walking some to regain myself, followed by running the remainder home. My goal is to run more and walk less. I am managing to succeed in this goal, which is a total rush. I’ve spent the last 30+ years believing I have asthma, and I’d begin wheezing almost immediately after beginning a brisk walk. I feel awesome, and rarely even need my inhaler anymore. All I did was stick to a juice-cleanse regimen, (essentially flushing out yucky toxins which my body was hording like a stingey miser) of fresh, organic fruit and veggie juice for 2-months. I’m still juicing because I love it so much, so I’ve extended my personal challenge to 90-days. As of today, I’m on Day-78. I’d have never thought it was as easy as juice! Yay! *cheer*

Liquid Sunshine 101

Liquid Sunshine

My second favourite juice-blend is the Liquid Sunshine. I like to make it at least once per week, especially on weekends. I’m looking forward to turning some of this blend into popsicles for this Summer, since I’m avoiding sugars outside of those present in the organic fruit and veg.

Liquid Sunshine

According to Joe Cross, creator of the documentary “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead,” Liquid Sunshine is pineapple, oranges, lemons, and a few other Vitamin C-loaded fruits. I took that as my green light to chuck in as many citrusy fruits I could think of, and have a juice packed full of yummy Vittie C’s. Mine is a combination of fresh, organic: pineapple, watermelon, honeydew (or other melon), strawberries, oranges, lemon, lime, apples, pears, kiwi, nectarines, peppers (red/orange/yellow, or all 3!) and occasionally plums. It’s awesome, and perfect for Summer-time or boosting your immune system during cold/flu season. Enjoy! ❤
