31-Day Blog Challenge

Day-26… Still going!

Me Day-26

Today is Day-26 of my Epic Reboot, and I still love it!

To be totally honest, I don’t think I could have dreamed-up a bigger challenge for myself than this Reboot. Cooking meals for my family while taking-in only freshly-pressed juice is harder than I thought! I had to delegate duties and meal-prep between my Mister and my Elflings, and they’ve been awesome and super-supportive. Each day I’m closer to my goal, and each day I feel better than I could’ve imagined. Who knew the constant influx of an amalgam of fresh, yummy, organic juice could make a body glow and feeling sated? Hooray!

I’m still alive!

Hello all! I’ve been so busy lately wrapping-up Homeschool for my Elflings, registering Metatron (my middle Elfling, and Warrior Angel) for High School in a near-by public school, finding a good groove, and juicing like a beast on my Epic Reboot, that I’ve hardly had time to sit down and write anything to update.

I’m really loving my Reboot, and feel super-awesome! I saw my Family Doc on May 6 for a check-up, blood tests, etc., and all is good. I have no idea what the number on the scale said, because this adventure is not about a number, it is about feeling healthier and clearing out the gunk my body is hoarding like a miser. I’ll have a comparative idea in the beginning of July, because we’re going to compare all the numbers and values at the end of my Epic Reboot. I’m going for 60-days. ;0)

Today is Day-25, and I’ve decided to have Metatron help me record the process, so I can share a glimpse of “a day in the life” with you all. ;0)

It’s a good day to feel great! ❤ xo

Fruitsicles ♥

I made these yummy Fruitsicles this weekend with my Elflings. They were super-yummy, and very easy. I think we could have left them in the freezer for a little bit longer, but we were so excited to eat them, we couldn’t wait. ;0)

I just used a mango, a couple of carrots, a pineapple wedge, and 2 bananas. The carrots and pineapple I processed through my juicer, but the mango and banana pieces I whizzed-up with the hand blender. =0)

The simplest of tools: fruit and veg puree, empty popsicle form, and some popsicle sticks.

All filled and ready for the freezer, with a little glass left-over for sharing.
