This one gets me giddy!

The sum to spend is $1000:

$720 – Adult Canadian Passports x 6

$120 – Child’s Canadian Passports x 2

$80 – Passport Photos x 8

$60 – for  Mobile Notary Public to Notarise the Documents and Photos

$20 – for Registered Letter to Ship/Send the Documents in

$1000

∴ If I had an extra $1000 laying around, I would get passports sorted for my entire family.

Inspired to Abundance Exercise

Inspired to Abundance 2016

In 2013 I was inspired by Cauldrons and Cupcakes to participate in an exercise of the Laws of Attraction and “writing myself into abundance.”

Twice I have started this exercise in abundance, and twice I have left the task incomplete. I will do my best to finish it this time. I owe the Universe a huge debt of thanks.

The exercise is as follows:

Your task this week (and into the following months if you enjoy this exercise) is to start at the smallest amount of money, and spend the lot.  You can spend more than one amount of money at a time, but you must spend in order: ie Cash Sum 1, Cash Sum 2, etc. You cannot move onto the next sum of money until you have completely spent the one before.

Simply write HOW you will spend the money, being as specific as you can. Feel free to get brochures or cost things out on the internet. Let your imagination go to town, and allow yourself to become emotionally involved in spending this cash!

This activity helps clear out our anxiety, fear and worry around money, and assists us to get to what we really want from life and for ourselves. Enter this activity with a spirit of adventure and curiosity.

It doesn’t matter how you spend this cash – it only matters that you spend it. Once you have spent the money, for the purposes of this activity consider that task done.  For example if you borrowed twenty dollars and you use your first Cash Sum to pay that back, tomorrow you don’t have to worry about repaying that debt – it’s done – so move on to the next thing. (of course, in real life you will still need to pay that twenty back…)

Cash Sums to be spent energetically

  1. $20
  2. $100
  3. $500
  4. $1000
  5. $2500
  6. $5000
  7. $10 000
  8. $25 000
  9. $50 000
  10. $75 000
  11. $100 000
  12. $200 000
  13. $500 000
  14. $750 000
  15. $1 000 000
  16. $5 000 000

Pay attention to how your feelings change as you go from the smaller sums to the larger sums. Write in as much detail as possible. Really let yourself play and have fun with this. Allow yourself to get excited. Know that what you are doing is actually the Law of Attraction in action as you inform the Universe of your intentions and desires.

I’m so excited to begin anew! ♥

I’m such a delinquent!

Cute Bunny

I feel like such a delinquent! I’ve received a few awards of late, but aside from thanking the senders, I’ve done little else. I am sorry for this slip, but assure you it’s not actually an over-sight. Wrapping-up Homeschool and finishing the last of our lessons was my main distraction. I will, however, endeavour to pay proper respect this coming weekend. Thank you for your infinite patience. ♥

Inspiring and Versatile?

Last week I was nominated for two super-awesome blogging awards, by two of the super-awesomest blogging Mamas I’ve ever had the pleasure of “meeting” and reading. I’m gobsmacked, and it’s not very often I have trouble coming up with words… I’ve even resorted to making them up!

Me? Really?

I thought I was just super-random... *happy dancing*

Thank you Laments and Lullabies and Meizac for the Inspiring Blogger and Versatile Blogger Awards. You ladies managed to bring me to (happy) tears, render me speechless, and fill me with the warmest of fuzzies. Thank you from the bottom of my little, black heart so much!

Once again, I feel like Roberto Benigni… I want to kiss everybody!

There are rules to these awards, and I’m happy to oblige:

1. Thank the award givers and link back: Laments and Lullabies and Meizac, Thank you! *squishy hugs*

2. Share 7 things about myself. Squeep!

  • I used to live in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brasil. I learned Portuguese by submersion immersion. The only words I knew were: yes, no, and I love you. Terrible words for a young girl to know in a South American country. I still speak some, but not as well as I did when I was there and going to school.
  • I had a purple and blue mohawk in High School.
  • My nickname in High School was “Mouldylocks.”
  • I wear a studded-belt and the buckle says: “DORK.”
  • I used to only wear Doc Martens, but since becoming Vegan I only wear Converse. They are black and yellow, like Wolverine.
  • My favorite X-man is Wolverine.
  • I have a minimalist wardrobe: jeans; t-shirt; black, cotton cardigan; studded-belt; fuzzy socks. Simple.
