Our yummy Spinach Biscuits from lunch. They were super-good, and came together pretty quick. I was craving garlic biscuits, so we whipped these up.
Biscuits 2 C flour* 3 tsp baking powder* 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast 1 tsp salt 2 Tbsp olive* oil 2 minced garlic* cloves 1 handful chopped parsley* 1 minced green onion* 1 C warm water * = Organic∴ Preheat oven to 450°F/232°C. Add flour, baking powder, nutritional yeast, and salt to bowl. Stir it up with a whisk. Add oil, garlic, parsley, and green onions to the mix. Continue to whisk. Pour water in, and bring the mixture together with a spatula until it’s formed a ball. Knead the ball on a floured-surface for 5 minutes. Flatten with your hands or a rolling pin, and cut out your biscuit shapes. Bake in an un-greased pan for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
Dough before kneading…
…now it’s ready to be flattened, cut-up and baked. *happy dancing*
Fresh and warm from the oven.
I had to be quick to get this pic with apples and fresh spinach. Happy food. =0)
